The "Web Content Grabber" project has died. It now has been put into the project "Webfear Structiatella" including the fully-debugged library plus a development environment for content loading project. It is licensed L-GPL and free for commercial and non-commercial use (unless You are not violating the license terms).
The project itself is hosted on Sourceforge and is hosted within its own subdomain on this server at http://structiatella.gegrunze.de/.
Any help continuing development (especially documentation) if welcome - interested people should have a look at Structiatella SF Project Page for further notice.

New Features have been added : site search and site info.
Both are realized as php object classes utilizing database tables for content storage (like all content on this site).
You may have a try typing a keyword into searchfield on the rightmost top.

What's all about?This version is a combination of Dreamweaver-Layout-Templates and CSS which have been plugged into a PHP 4 object component model. This little technical gimmick enables me to keep the site up to date by managing my backend database, the layout / content managing logic has been developed under regard of MVC-principles. Alas, PHP4 still is quite unhandy for site coding, but the prior version of this site, which has been developed fully under PERL-CGI, has shown major flaws in web template integration - so I chose the quicker way ... Hopefully the successor of this new site will be a WAR-file on a Java Application Server (e.g. Tomcat or sth else). A hole bunch of pictures used on this site can be found on Stockexchange.
